National Air Force Museum

On Saturday, we went with our good friends to visit the National Air Force Museum in Dayton.  We'd been before but none of the kids remembered it, so it was a fun day of checking out all the airplanes, space shuttles, missiles, bombs and my favorite, the Stealth!  Josiah said "airpane" and some form of the word "helicopter" about 6,000 times.  Noah tried "astronaut ice cream" and was not impressed.  :)

Other than that, it's been a pretty quiet week.  Josiah continues to occasionally use the potty chair before taking a bath and he is now saying some of the actual words in our various prayers before meals, bedtime and the Lord's Prayer.  It's very cute but when I try to get the camera out to record it, he clams up.  Basically, the meal prayer (Come Lord Jesus, be our guest...) goes something like "Bebop potter.... MEN!" and in the bedtime prayer (Now I lay me down to sleep...) and the Lord's Prayer, he seems to hit the last word of each phrase.  It's hard for the rest of us not to giggle a bit, though I'm sure the Lord is giggling a bit too.  ;)
