Tee-ball

I know that I am SO far behind on my blogging. Growing a baby and being a mom of a 6-year old is tiresome work! :) I was on a roll for awhile and then ran into some problems with the tee-ball pictures and lost my momentum. Hopefully I can get that momentum back because we have so many pictures to share!

Once again, we were amazed at what a difference a year makes in the life of Noah. He really improved his tee-ball game and though the games themselves weren't all that thrilling, Noah's team did really well by mid-season. They had great hits and even did some ok fieldwork. Noah did get an out while playing third at one of his games. Unfortunately, I wasn't taking pictures that night. He was SO excited, shouting, "I GOT AN OUT!! I GOT AN OUT!!" When he realized that the people on the sidelines were cheering for him, he turned on the charm and they clapped and cheered all the more. He is such a ham!

Thanks again to Christine McClaren for taking amazing pictures with their camera. Unfortunately, I still can't seem to get the pictures to load normally, so I'm posting just a few of my very favorites for your viewing pleasure.

No, that's not a pop fly Noah is trying to catch... I said he improved, but I didn't say he was ready for the pros. ;)

Cincinnati in June

Michael and Noah returned from Dubuque on Thursday night, I did laundry on Friday morning and we headed off to Cincinnati Friday night! We really love Cincinnati - so much to do and we always seem to have a great time. This trip we went to IKEA, Johnny's Toys (a toy store and huge play area), Cincinnati Art Museum, putt-putt golfing, go-karts and King's Island. I didn't bring the camera to King's Island, so you'll just have to trust me that Noah had a FABULOUS time. We were there from 10am until they closed the park at 10pm! Noah was full of energy and thankfully, I had plenty of time to just sit and read my book while Michael and Noah rode lots of rides. It was a great day.

Another Dubuque visit

Back in early June, Michael and Noah made the trip to Dubuque. I stayed home and slept! :) They were able to spend time with the Phillips' and Rehfeldts and even made the trip to see the Field of Dreams in Dyersville. Noah and Taylor hadn't seen the movie, so they weren't all that impressed. At the souvenir stand, Michael asked Noah if he wanted a hat or a shirt or something - nope, not our Noah! He just wanted a PEN. lol They also went to see Emily play softball and enjoyed lots of family time. Here are a few pictures from their trip.
